Order & Chaos Online

Guides, Tips & Tricks, News, Walkthroughs, Hints
for the best iOS MMO by Gameloft

Attributes

Attributes 200x133 AttributesOrder and Chaos is just like most any RPG in that you have attributes or stats that affect your character in different ways. Depending on what class you are, you have a different priority list of what stats you are looking for. Getting the right gear relies on a good combination of character stats. Your stats in Order & Chaos Online are calculated based on the items or build you choose.

For each class there are few stats that are important to get as high as player can. You can see below which stats are key for game classes:

  • Rangers: Stamina (Health+Regeneration) and Agility (Attack, Crit, Dodge)
  • Mage: Spell Power (Damage) and Wisdom (Regeneration+Mana)
  • Monk-Mili: Wisdom (Regeneration+Mana) and Spell Power (Damage)
  • Monk-Healer: Wisdom (Regeneration+Mana), Stamina (Health) and Heal Power
  • Warrior-DPS: Stamina (Health+Regeneration) and Strength (Damage)
  • Warrior-Tank: Stamina (Health+Regeneration) and Armor

By character stats:

  • Agility – Increase player dodge and critical strike chance, and increase ranged attack power. 1 Agility = .03% Critical Chance, .04% Dodge, 1 Ranged Attack Power (2 Ranged Attack Power, 1 Melee Attack Power for Ranger)
  • Armor - Armor points shows how much damage is absorbed by your armor.
  • Stamina - Increase your hit points regeneration rate and max hit points with 10 per point. (All Classes, Warriors if tanking)
  • Strength – Increase your attack power. 1 Strength = 2 Melee Attack Power (1 Melee Attack Power for Ranger)
  • Wisdom – Increase your mana regeneration rate and max mana points. 1 Wisdom = 15 MP and 2 MP/8s  (Mages, Monks)

By item stats:

  • Increase attack power by x ; 1 point increases player attack power by 1
  • Increase block level by x ; 1 level increases player block chance by 0.1%
  • Increase critical level by x ; 1 level increases player melee/heal critical chance by 0.1%
  • Increase dodge level by x ; 1 level increases player dodge chance by 0.1%
  • Increase hit level by x ; 1 level increases player melee hit chance by 0.1%
  • increase poison spell power by x ; 1 point increases poison spell damage bonus by 1 (0.1%)
  • Increase parry level by x ; 1 level increases player parry chance by 0.1%
  • increase healing power by x ; 1 point increases healing power by 1 (0.1% total healing power & restore)
  • increase holy spell power by x ; 1 point increases holy spell damage bonus by 1 (0.1%)
  • Increase spell hit chance by x ; 1 point increases player spell hit chance by 0.1%
  • Increase spell critical chance by x ; 1 point increases player spell critical chance by 0.1%
  • increase spell power by x ; 1 point increases all spell damage (and heal) by 0.1%

    hi
im realy new to this game

can u make somthing like a attribute guid?
like go 100% wisdom when u are a mage because
    something like that :P

    grz

    • Anonymous

You don’t actually assign attribute points in this game as far as I can tell, you only get them through equipped items. You still choose because you are always picking which items you want based on the attributes (And other stuff) that they buff.

It would probably be good to add that concept to the main article at the top, since it’s a significant difference from how attributes are used in a lot of other games, where you assign a ton of points and the effects are super important.

  • Hector

You should make a guide how the points influence each individual class not that kind of stuff, like, how wisdom affects a warrior, how agility affects a warrior?! that would be helpful

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_2RYFY5PO6NK7O7WXOB3EAX4NGY jerick:)

Wisdom: increase max mana points and
    mana regeneration rate. (Mages, Monks)
             * it increases the maximum
capacity of mana and regenaration of              mana.(
Since only Mages and monks have  the mana) *it must also affect the magic
damage by increasing the wisdom. but im not sure because they never mention in
and since im using warrior i also don’t know if it affects the magic damage
every time you increase your wisdom.

Stamina: increase max hit points with 10 per point, and increases hit
point regeneration rate. (All Classes, Warriors if tanking)
             * hit points also known as
health points (HP) (Stamina increases the maximum capacity of health and increases
    also the regeneration of HP)

    Strength: increase attack power. (Warriors)

             * Strength increases
    physical damage attack .

Agility: increase dodge and critical strike chance; increase ranged
    attack power. (Rangers)

             * I think this one is well explain

    • Asdafd

strongly agree with you. (Stamina: increase max hit points with 10 per point, and increases hit
point regeneration rate. (All Classes, Warriors if tanking)
               * hit points also known as
health points (HP) (Stamina increases the maximum capacity of health and increases
      also the regeneration of HP)

thats all about it: “Stamina increase health”

  • Zak

if increasing wisdom doesnt give better magic damage then they need to fix it mages are very underpowered….

    • Ike496

If you have ever even played an mmo, i would hope that you would already know that mages already hit crit numbers. If done correctly, you can perform spells with numbers ten levels above warriors or rangers. So no, magesare not underpowered. Underarmored maybe… But not underpowered.

  • nampx153

I think: The above guidance is very specific, you need something for your class:Mages and Monks: Wisdom + Stamina.Warrior: Strength + Stamina.Rangers: Agility + Stamina.

  • Kurstin

So if your archer would you benefit from more agility or attack power points when looking for weapons, armor etc?

  • Bailar_casino

    Hi!
Please, could u give a bit more details about how the attributes work? Guess many gamers would find it useful.
    Questions:
    1. What exactly is attack power?
With more a.p. my warrior seems to hit faster, ie make more hits over a period of time. Is it about attack speed? Added damage per second or something else? Like 10 a.p. gives you what in physical equivalent? Does a.p. affect all your weapon/skills/spells?

    2. Ranged vs regular attack power: how are they related? Does ordinary attack power also influence your ranged weapon?

    3. How exactly does Strength affect attack power? What do 10 points in strength give you? Does it only work for warriors?

    4. Agility: how exactly are dodge chance and critical chance scaled with agility? Does it work for rangers only or any class?

    5. What exactly is the difference between critical chance and critical level? Same dodge/parry chance and d/p level? What does 10 critical level do?

    6. In case of dodged/blocked/parried hit, is 100% damage avoided? Or is damage only reduced?

    7. Does armor give protection against any attack, or melee attack only? How is armor defense calculated, eg 10 armor saves you how much hp points?

Sorry for the long post, still believe many would highly appreciate an insight into the game mechanics.

I will try to be as detailed as I can in this guide for those who don’t understand the already thorough explanation above. As an experienced gamer who has played MMORPG’s for 10+ years now this is the best assessment I can make on the given attribute dilemma.

Firstly, as stated at the bottom post here, you don’t assign your own attributes as you level like other rpg’s. However you do pick your armor and equipment which in turn affects your stats.

Mages regardless of talent path taken need to focus on wisdom and stamina, with wisdom coming as the priority stat. You all will have to tamper with this but I would imagine that the wisdom increase is comparable with stamina in that, when you add one point of wisdom your mana pool will rise 10 and your regeneration will increase too. In most games with this attribute your spell crit rises as well. Once again this is all very easy to assess within the game, but I am currently at work and will not be making my own table of % increases.
***Equip an item with one more wisdom than the previous item you had equipped and go into your attributes window. See how much your crit level and crit % rises with the one point increase and this will give you an accurate number on how it is affected per point of wisdom. Your blue bar at the top left of your screen will show the mana increase as well and cast a spell and watch the regen to see how the PoT (power over time) has changed.***

***This method can be applied to every class and every attribute you are trying to analyze and see its affects.***

Monks who take the divine path will focus on wisdom and stamina as well as mana and spell crit’s come as a priority for healers, health as a secondary focus. Military Monks should focus on strength, agility, stamina. Strength will increase your damage on auto attacks as well as individual melee abilities as well. Agility raises your dodge and critical strike chance, so that is vital for military monks as well as a secondary stat. Third, stamina is important to all characters as you will need health to survive soloing and questing. Some of you may think “Why is he putting it third? I would rather have more stamina to survive!” Well you won’t survive if you can’t dish out the damage needed to kill mobs. That is why.

Rangers who folllow the archer path will primarly focus on agility for high crit chance and ranged attack power, dodge chance. Secondarily, stamina for health points and regeneration. Assassins fall under a little different of a category. Most of you may think agility is primary stat for rangers regardless. However, assassin path rangers need agility, strength, stamina and in that order. Strength is necessary for the melee DPS(damage per second) with auto attacks and their stab abilities. Agility is still most important because rangers regardless of path need high crit chances because their attacks do high damage especially when they can crit consistantly. Also assassins need to kill quick so strong crits are necessary. Strength will mod the auto attacks and the abils and you will have to play around to see how much it’s really helping. I personally would follow a 3/1/2 ratio of agil/strength/stamina when making an assassin.

Lastly, the warrior is quite versatile as well and can use 3 out of the four stats within the game. If you plan to tank primarily and play within groups then you probably picked guardian. Stamina actually comes as the primary stat in this situation because you want to have as much health as possible to take on the hardest mobs in the game. Strength comes next as you will need it for damage to keep aggro on you as well as to mod your taunts for aggro control as well. Agility could come as a third stat for you if you wish to add some for defense and boost your dodge percentage. As a battle warrior you will want strength as your primary stat to mod your DPS with auto attacks and your abilities. Stamina secondary for the necessary health you will need to survive. Agility could also be thrown in there for crit chance to boost your damage with critting more frequently.

Other questions asked were about attack power. Agility raises your attack power and ranged attack power, however only when using bows or crossbows do you need ranged. So warriors when they pull mobs and rangers who take the archer path mainly. Wisdom in other RPG’s has raised your resistance to magic as well but I am unsure on this in O & C.

I hope this has helped all of those people who were struggling with the attribute comprehension. I will be posting another thread or class selection for those of you who struggle with picking and a class due to lack of understanding their role and strengths and weaknesses. Good luck and happy trails!

wisdom also increases spell critical chance.

  • greg

ah fuck I’ve been doing it all wrong this whole time. lvl 24 :p

  • anonymous

    what about intelligance?

  • •soda•

For rangers. I was messing around with my weapons and come to find out… I had one with 3 agility another with 6 attack power. Swapping back and forth my dps didn’t change at ALL. With agility my crit was 24.96. With attack power my crit was 23.92. So agility is better unless the attack power is more than 2x the agility. So recap 1 agility is 2 attack power. Attack power is half of agility without benefits

  • Juanjo2203

Im currently trying an agility guardian warrior.
because of the agility helps a lot to evade damage also very good critical chance and the shield helps to buff a good bunch of damage….

  • just a mili monk

mili monk => wisdom and spell power?
    im like, wtf?
mili monks need str/AP and agi/crit
checked myself yesterday, 1 agi also gives 1 melee attack power
no, mili doesn’t need spell power, you get it from your attack power with talents
yes, mili needs some wisdom, to not run out of mana too fast, but most gear doesn’t have any
i think this needs to be updated )

  • Joe Son

So spell power does help healing power? How much spell to healing power stats would make a healer choose the spell power item over the healing power item?
