DDoS attacks caused Order and Chaos Online outages

After weeks of wondering about why the Order and Chaos Online servers were so slow/not available at all we finally have an answer. It turns out that the outages are coming from a series of denial of service attacks (DDoS) directed towards Gamelofts servers. No player data has been lost, but it certainly helps us understand why things were so sketchy over the last month. The quote about the issue from Sarah on the Gameloft forums is below. “Over the last three weeks, Order & Chaos Online servers have been under numerous DDoS attacks. These attacks have impaired Gameloft Online services and features linked to Order & Chaos Online, and generated high instability in the game. Exploring the new Level 70 cap update

As we said the past week, we have are exploring the new Level 70 cap update for Order and Chaos Online. As we said, it really modified some stuff about the gameplay, but the initial impression is not always the best one. After the update we took our lvl 60 mage called Alimac and started some of the newly presented leveling quests. We also started playing with our warrior, Alimin, to see if the center gameplay was changed. For our mage, we saw that toons are, wholly, weaker. Surely, there are fancy toons with T2 gear and epic weapons passing through the Under Realm and Eternal Frostlund. But if somebody just reached lvl 60 or, like our Alimac, in lesser gear the power decline is big . Order and Chaos Online Update – Are you satisfied?

Few days ago Gameloft finally update Order and Chaos Online. Maybe this update is the most anticipated update ever, but it may also be the most disputable update ever. It appears to be like part II of the Mendels Rising update. When players start the game after this update, first that they see is the Mendels Rising promo art, along with the update title in the corner. Also, the app icon is still a Mendel, although now hero looks somewhat angry. We must be honest, update bring so much changes, so many tweaks to the way things used to be. Changes that everyone expected are two new regions and ten new levels. However, developers has changed how everything works. For example, business skills have gotten a big overhaul. This is maybe a good, since the last system was not so good, but next days will show is the new system really better or not....

Beauty Salon Bug

After the new region update, some players are reported beauty salon bug. They reported that changing appearance within the beauty salon would reset their skills (including mount skills). Gameloft developers has fixed this bug. But, if some of you were affected by it, please contact Gameloft customer care with your account/mount/character detail on this link. Order & Chaos Online iOS update – not before April 15?

Last weeks all players of Order & Chaos Online are asking “When will iOS update be released?”. From Gameloft we can’t hear anything, but we have some of our sources and they told us that the game may not be released before April 15. We were just wondering why they haven’t released the game before the hollidays? A lot of people would love to play this game in the hollidays and weekend. Also, probably everyone, and us too, is asking why then Gameloft has announced that that update will come in next days? Our source think that is because two reason. First, and main, reason is that Gameloft constantly has technical issues. When their developers fix one, short after that another is coming. This week website Appolicious proclaimed the Order & Chaos Duels as a top game for this week in their lists. They wright that is game a deep collecting card battle where its players collect cards and go into battle against players friends in live multiplayer engagements. They also describe Order & Chaos Duels like a classic battle of good and evil where players can create a hero and collect over 250 cards that they can use in live multiplayer battles. We now that this great game also offers up longer quests and adventures for players who are looking for more than just one-on-one battles.
