Thank you Redfencer56 for this guide. Ranger with assassin spec is pretty decent soloing job at low levels. The first points I got I invested into sneak. Now having come from the background of playing final fantasy online for a number of years we didnt have the split in the jobs/classes like wow or this game since it is modeled after wow. I saw under the sneak ability that once you start investing points into assassin/ranger you stun the mobs on your first attack. This creates a neat opportunity when standing at max attack range. You get between 3-4 shots in before the mob closes to within melee range. This happens because of the stun affect. The mob is stationary for a few seconds suffering from stun.
