Warrior – PvE – Duel Wield Pure DPS Build

Colby on the official forums posted a great build for leveling duel wield. Pros: by far fastest DPS in game. constant morale generation and spamming skills. can still use a 2h for tanking. great for tanking or DPSing Cons: less HP when tanking dual wield. requires lots of hit rate gear. cannot use for PvP Though you could essentially tank with this build too all bosses except melee ones like Kermode, Tite, Khap. Swamp Fury is needed in main hand for this. CKD is best for offhand, but Claw or Seal are good substitutes also. Epic Trippers Robe is also needed for chest as well as the Precision Cloak. Everything else is pretty standard. The tanking spec for melee bosses will look exactly the same but take 3 points from Staunch and put into Feint. Colby in the official Forums Posted a terrific leveling PVE build for people to try. Pros: great for PvP and PvE. great for tanking. good for DPSing. Doesn’t require any special gear. Cons: slower than dual wield for DPSing. This spec is awesome for PvP and PvE. Morale generation is not much of a problem while tanking, so you can almost spam nonstop on this while tanking. No real special gear is required also except a Vorpal Sword, since it actually has about 170 crit (not just the 25 on the description). If you do not care about PvP at all, you take points out of Sonic Boom, Rotor Storm, and Brutal Implosion. Rumor has it you only need 1/5 of 2h expert as well to make it fully effective at 15% faster hit rate. Haven’t tested that out though. So with 11 extra points for PvE only, you could...

There doesn’t seem to be a lot of guides on Warrior going with Guardian/Battle spec so I decided to write one. The Warrior Guardian/Battle is a very stable hybrid class capable of Soloing, Teaming, Dueling and PvPing. It is important you always strive to have the best gear you have access to as well as a shield and one-handed weapon. For one-handed weapons you want a weapon that has decent speed, solid DPS and high damage. You want equipment that confers bonuses on Dodge, Parry and Block, this is of utmost importance for your Guardian/Battle hybrid. It is also recommended that most of your equipment has +Str and +Sta as well as granting +Attack Power and +Critical Hit. (learn in this order) 1 charge at rank 1 it give 50 damage, which is very good at level 5. also, its an excellent morale dump as you dont have many other skills. 5 ruthless 5 warpath you will be level 15 by now 3 fearless i dont put fearless as my first 3 talents as the improved courage isnt needed at such low levels. rather, having ruthless and warpaths increases your killing speed by alot. 1 offensive shout 3 cleave 2 fence 1 thundershout 1 fence level 26 while some might argue that you dont need so many points of cleave so early, i beg to differ. my style involves pulling several mobs – about 3-4, spamming pounding glow & swift strike. i keep alive with pots and courage. 5 twohand expert 1 sonic slash 2 points here to dump around 1 powerful wave you could take lacerate instead...

This has been the largest missing feature on any of the O and C resources so far and is way better then the one we had been creating for our use. Ranger Guide – Assassin Spec

Thank you Redfencer56 for this guide. Ranger with assassin spec is pretty decent soloing job at low levels. The first points I got I invested into sneak. Now having come from the background of playing final fantasy online for a number of years we didnt have the split in the jobs/classes like wow or this game since it is modeled after wow. I saw under the sneak ability that once you start investing points into assassin/ranger you stun the mobs on your first attack. This creates a neat opportunity when standing at max attack range. You get between 3-4 shots in before the mob closes to within melee range. This happens because of the stun affect. The mob is stationary for a few seconds suffering from stun. Skyfire Talent Tree Tier One: Shock wave - required points in Skyfire: 0, prerequisite: None Recommendation: 10 This is one of our most reliable AOE spell, can be learned at level 5, instant casting, 2sec cooldown with maxed Burnout. Definitely a must have while leveling, since there are always situations when you have to deal with multiple mobs or running out of spells to finish a mob. Only draw back of this spell is its cost to damage ratio is pretty high, which means if you spam it, you will run out of mana very fast. So, use it only when you have to. Without any experience in MMORPG’s it will be almost impossible to survive. Mages have very low health; the only way to survive is using an energy shield that will absorb 40% of the damage dealt (Percentage increases over each rank). Therefore your mana is your life. Without mana you will die. This guide will help you keep your deaths to a minimum. 1. As stated above, the only way to keep yourself from dying all the time is your shield.
